Vitamin B8 (pineapple, grapefruit, apples), is important for healthy skin, hair and nails. Vitamin B9 (carrots, lemons, limes, mint, grapefruits) is necessary for the formation of red blood cells and the production of DNA. Manganese (pineapple, basil, cucumbers, ginger, mint),is important for bone health and insulin production. It may also help protect cells from oxidative damage.
